Happy Holidays!

I realize that I haven't updated our website since early October. Hmm! I guess we've been busy! Since then, we've been to Branson twice. In October we had a great trip there with the Vazquez family Janice, Enrique, Marco and Christina and Fr. Ed. We saw great shows and had a wonderful time. Then, in November, Jim and I returned to see Christmas shows. That was another great time, and to top it all off, a former student of mine, Marlene Mannella and her son Nathan, came to Branson to visit us. I hadn't seen Marlene in 26 years since teaching in Brooklyn, New York . Now she lives only 4 hours from Branson, so she decided to come there to visit. What a treat! We talked for five hours straight while Jim and Nathan found other interests. And, besides all these good times, I am very grateful to still be able to travel a bit.

I'm also grateful that I could help prepare Thanksgiving dinner at our house this year. With the help of Jim and the rest of the family, things went smoothly and turned out fine. It was an extra gift to have family gather in our new home. The porch became an extra bedroom and sleeping bags dotted the floor here and there. Seems everyone found a place to be comfortable, and we had a good time.

We come to this Christmas with hearts filled with gratitude for God's many blessings in our lives, and we wish you days of peace, love, joy and good health during this season and every day of the new year to come.

Many thanks to all who pray for us so diligently. We know that is one big reason why we are doing so well. God's blessings and grace be yours!

Love, Joanne — and Jim, too!
